Why Japan?

Back in elementary school, I listened to J-rock with my best friends, and went home to hear American rock with my dad.

I noticed many shared influences between two countries that seemed so far away.

Music is a universal language, and starting in the 2000s, music communities online have completely changed how global music was shared.

There are even more opportunities to share local movements with the world!
